For some reason, I am feeling more optimistic about doing more writing this year than I have ever done in the last couple of years. And, I’m already looking forward to trying new and different things once again. Perhaps, even start on a good project or two.

It has been over a year and a half since I last updated this site. The last time was just before I had a baby in March 2007. That time, I tried to create a webzine side using Joomla and separated the blog side using WordPress.
Bad move, I say. Not only did it complicate the whole process, it made the site appear disjointed. No wonder I was left uninspired when it comes to trying to blog here.
Ah, well. I guess, I’ll just blame it on pregnancy hormones. …

This site is always changing, always evolving… And now, it’s in its latest form: a webzine-weblog combo. Well, sort of.
It’s a long story how it all happened. So, let me just give you the quick version: eWriteLife started as just part of my personal site, hosted on a freeserver many years ago. Hmmm… Will you look at this? It looks like this blog, eWriteLife.com, is #3 in the list of the “noisiest blogs/podcasts” in Australia. The title doesn’t seem too posh, I know. But, it’s basically just a ranking of the ‘most active’ (using various measures) Aussie-based blogs. Glad to make it in such a list.
