Welcome to eWriteLife, a site on creative writing, freelance writing and journal writing. It was first established in 1999 as “The Write Life” and has been through several changes through the years.

Some of the posts on eWriteLife may be on personal writing projects, the editorial manager of this site also features author interviews, book reviews, writing tutorials, and many other resources that may be useful for writers.

eWriteLife is maintained by Shai Coggins.

About Shai Coggins:

There are many facets to Shai Coggins’ life – both online and off. As a writer, Shai has been writing for as long as she can remember. Literally.

However, she will spare you the details. At least, for now anyway.

Some of Shai’s publication credits include:

• PRINT: Elle Magazine (Singapore), Straits Times, Language Update, Woman Today, etc.
• WEB: About.com (a company of the NY Times), Suite101, BrightHub, etc

Shai is also a published children’s book author. Her first book, “Goodbye, Grandma” (no longer in print) was published by an independent publisher called Giggletykes (now closed).

Shai is currently working on a number of freelance writing projects, as well as her first MG/YA fantasy novel.
